The company she founded, Dawn Rochelle Productions (DRP), has become a known entity producing beauty and fashion entertainment and events, including the number one pageant in the world for women of Hispanic heritage: Miss Latina World. Her casting and promotions agency has rapidly become one of the most respected model agencies in the Southwest.
Early in her career, Dawn became a top model for Catalina Swimwear, Cole of California Swimwear and Coors Light. While modeling in LA, the Texan caught the eye of director Penelope Spheeris (Wayne's World, Black Sheep/Tommy Boy) and was a chosen as a finalist for the lead role of Ellie May in the movie version of " The Beverly Hillbillies". The role eventually went to Erika Eleniak of Baywatch fame.
